Philly, led by a rookie head coach and a 33 year old QB who seems to be on the last legs of his career, walked into a raucous FedEx field in front of a crowd who was pumped to have RGIII back. And why wouldn’t they? RGIII led the Skins to 7 straight and into the playoffs at the end of last season. However, the Eagles came out and punched the Skins in the mouth early, despite having a controversial call on the long fumble return TD by Deangelo Hall. The team seems to be energized by the frenetic pace of first year coach Chip Kelly’s new uptempo offense and went up 26-7 at the half and never looked back, deflating the crowd early and forcing RGIII to beat them with his arm. He did make a somewhat valiant comeback effort, but the hole they dug early was too deep, losing 33-27. LeSean McCoy and Desean Jackson look like their old selves in this new offense, but how long can they keep this up? Again, Michael Vick is 33 and is certainly injury prone with his style of play, so we will just have to watch and find out. Outlook: Neutral
